Escape to Papa Aroha on the Coromandel Peninsula
Aroha A-Frames Bush & Beach Retreat are four retro chalets with amazing views of islands and nature. The houses are set on a rural hillside property at Papa Aroha, just north of Coromandel Town.
Each A-frame chalet has a fully-equipped kitchen, shower, main bedroom with a double bed, twin bedroom with two single beds, dining table, sofas and outdoor furniture. The property is ideal for friends, families and small groups looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.
Retro retreat with bush views and beach access
Guests can walk to a nearby safe secluded stony beach, go fishing around the Motukawao Islands, hear native birdsong, or just relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets over the Hauraki Gulf.
This is a great base to explore the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula. You can hike on the renowned Coromandel Coastal Walkway, take a train ride and zipline at Driving Creek Railway, enjoy great coffee and food at Coromandel Town or take a day trip to Hot Water Beach.

How to get here
Aroha A-Frames is located at Papa Aroha, a small community on the west coast of the georgeous Coromandel Peninsula, between Coromandel Town and Colville.
To get here, drive 15km north of Coromandel Town on Colville Road. Pass the Papa Aroha Holiday Park and continue up the road for about 200 metres. Our driveway is on the right-hand side, just before the big red tomato.
